Introduction
Work and Pay is committed to providing reliable transportation services in Lomé via a fleet of cars starting in January 2026, as well as a “Work and Pay” program allowing drivers to become owners of their vehicles. This reimbursement policy explains the conditions under which drivers (program participants) can request reimbursement. It complements the General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) and complies with Togolese law, including the Commercial Code and the provisions of OHADA.

1. Reimbursements for Drivers (“Work and Pay” Program)
1.1. Eligibility for Reimbursement
• Early termination for exceptional reasons: If the driver cannot continue the program for serious medical reasons or a case of force majeure (e.g. death, disability), subject to supporting documents.
1.2. Non-Eligibility
No refund will be given in the following cases:
• Voluntary Termination: If the driver abandons the program without valid reason
• Failure to comply with obligations: If the driver does not comply with the terms of the “Work and Pay” contract (e.g. poor maintenance of the car, inappropriate behavior).
• After transfer of ownership: Once the price in the contract has been reimbursed and ownership transferred, no reimbursement is possible.
1.3. Reimbursement Terms
• Exceptional termination: Partial reimbursement (amount paid less car usage costs, calculated pro rata).
• Repayment method: By Mobile Money or bank transfer, depending on the payment method for weekly installments.
• Processing time: 30 working days after approval, in coordination with the fleet supervisor
2. Reimbursement Request Procedure

• Name, contract number, and supporting documents (for drivers).
• Assessment: Requests are reviewed by the Work and Pay team, with support from the Fleet Supervisor.
• Response: Notification by email or telephone within 7 days for customers, 14 days for drivers.
3. Responsibility
Work and Pay is committed to handling reimbursement requests fairly, but cannot be held responsible:
• Delays in reimbursement due to technical problems (e.g. Mobile Money malfunction).
• Indirect losses (e.g. additional costs incurred by the driver).
4. Applicable Law
This policy is governed by the Togolese Commercial Code and the provisions of OHADA. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Lomé. An amicable resolution will be preferred before any legal action.
5. Changes to the Policy
Work and Pay may amend this policy to reflect project developments (e.g., launch in January 2026) or regulatory changes. Amendments will be posted on the website with an update date.
